Leicester LGBT Centre is getting ready for the return of Leicester pride this Saturday, the 3rd of September. Check where you can find us on the day.

We will be on the Parade with our banner, starting at 12 noon near the Curve Theatre, and travelling through the city centre before arriving at the Pride festival on Victoria Park at 1.00 pm. Look out for us, and come and say hello!

Victoria Park

We will be at the Leicester LGBT Centre marquee to the right of the main stage, where you can pop in to have a chat with our volunteers and staff, find information, ask about volunteering and find out a bit more about your community centre and many of the social groups and networks that use the LGBT centre. In the meantime, you can contact us for more information here.

Pride this year kicks off our 40th Anniversary celebrations – this September marks 40 years of the LGBT centre supporting the community in and around Leicester, and being #40yearsonyourside. Tweet your memories of the centre or messages of support to #40yearsonyourside and look out for LGBT centre volunteers who will be canvassing your thoughts about what the LGBT centre does well now and what we can do better to support the communities into the future.

Now is the time for you to tell us what should we do in the future to keep being on your side for all the years to come, so come along to our marquee or look out for our volunteers to participate in our survey - we can’t wait to hear from you.
