Nottingham Clinical Commissioning Group says it wants to run a focus group in May for LGB people – there will be a separate focus group for trans people.
Tracie Baker, from the CCG, says “I would like to carry out a focus group / meeting with the LGB community. To support the development of the new strategy, a programme of work has been created in which engaging with stakeholders, partners, patients and the public is key to ensuring the priorities agreed are appropriate and reflective of the health needs in Nottingham City.” She would like to know the chosen date by the end of next week (March 25th), if possible.
The focus group will be in between 7 and 9pm in May in a City Centre location yet to be arranged. The room will probably be booked from 6pm and (I hope) some refreshments provided. Please access this doodlepoll link and indicate which of the dates you can attend. The organisers want no more than 25 people. With the cuts in provision for sexual health we have had over the past few years, this might be an important meeting.
