If you would like to be doing something amazing in 2016, why not start by contacting our fostering team? You are invited to meet our friendly advisors and foster carers at one of our popular events.

Each year nearly 500 children stay with foster families in Leicester. This can be for a few weeks at a time or for several years. Children come from all communities and range from new-born babies to young teenagers. Sometimes brothers and sisters need a home where they can stay together. Disabled children can need short breaks for one weekend a month or more permanent care.

On Tuesday 15th March, Leicester City Council will be hosting a ‘Foster for Leicester’ event; an informal way to get all the answers to your questions about fostering.

For further information, please visit the Leicester City Council website at www.leicester.gov.uk/fostering.

In addition, this event conveniently ties in with New Family Social’s LGBT Fostering and Adoption Week.
