Gendered Lives Research Group from Loughborough University is holding an event next Thursday 17th of November to talk with and answer Q & A with Notthingham-born trans rights activist, Paris Lees and to introduce the Trans Lives: East Mids oral history project.

This free event is aimed at trans people and their allies and in addition to learning more about the project and hearing from Paris Lees, it is a great opportunity to meet other trans people from the East Midlands.
When: Thursday 17th November 2016 7.30-9.30pm.
Where: Mezzanine Bar, Broadway Cinema, Hockley, Nottingham.
If you would like to come, you can register here.
Lisa Vine the Project Lead for the Young Transgender Centre of Excellence (YTCE) will be attending the event with representatives of the project. This November it's one year since the YTCE project started, and if you'd like to learn more about our work and how we are supporting young trans people, then look no further.
