You are invited to attend our celebration commemorating Fascinating Aida becoming Leicester LGBT Centre’s Patrons at 1pm on Saturday 21 March 2015 at the Centre.
Fascinating Aida join Prof. Dominic Shellard, Vice-Chancellor of De Montfort University, who is Hon. President of The Centre.
“Delighted to be a Patron of an organisation which is a lifeline for so many people” said Adele Anderson, member of the world renowned cabaret songsters.
“They have a devoted following, including members of the LGBT communities, and they are a valued addition to the “family” at our Centre”, said Kevin Oliver, Centre Vice-Chair.
“Fabulous organisation doing wonderful things” said Soprano Liza Pulman.
The trio are currently at the end of an extensive UK tour, and will be visiting The Centre in the near future.
Steph Morgan, Centre Chair said it was “A Real Coup. They’re utterly brilliant and I’m sure that that their Patronship will help enormously”.
“Their ability to bridge the gap between generations is something that The Centre is passionate about”, said Paul Fitzgerald, Centre CEO. “We are beyond pleased that they want to support our work”.
