Informed by our award winning work, the Centre offers a range of professional awareness raising and inclusion workshops to increase understanding of issues affecting LGBT+ individuals and communities and improve your organisations ability to meet the needs of its employees, clients and wider stakeholders.
The Centre specialises in providing high-quality training and consultancy for professionals across the private, public & voluntary sector to increase understanding of the issues affecting LGBT+ people.

Our training and consultancy will give professionals the opportunity to gain a range of valuable skills and knowledge to confidently work with customers, learners, employees and colleagues. Based on the most recent research and policy, this supports professionals and organisations to be up-to-date, meet legal requirements, improve quality and promote diversity and inclusion. All packages are delivered by our highly skilled training and consultancy team and offered at market prices.

Leicester LGBT Centre Training
Our training courses are relevant for all professionals and include LGBT+ Awareness Training, Transgender Awareness and bespoke LGBT+ training sessions to meet the needs of your organisation.

Training sessions can be delivered at your venue at a cost of £450.00 plus travel costs for a 3 hour session for up to 20 delegates.
​
The above courses are also delivered regularly as part of our In-House training programmes with delivery at our own offices in Leicester and can be attended by individuals or larger groups. Cost per person for attendance at our In-House training event is £55.00 - 1 free place will be offered for every 5 paying delegates from the same organisation.

Leicester LGBT Centre offers a range of professional consultancy providing specialist advice. We have subject matter experts who can assist your organisation in a range of areas including policy and strategy development and in providing advice for you to support your customers, learners, employees and colleagues.

General terms and conditions
​
Delivery of traning at client’s location will require the provision of IT facilities (Computer and Digital Projector and Internet access) by the commissioning agency.
​
Price includes provision of delegate pack (Electronic) and Certificate of Attendance. All material remains the property of Leicester LGBT Centre and can only be presented, redistributed or modified with the consent of Leicester LGBT Centre.
Delivery dates to be agreed between Leicester LGBT Centre and the commissioning agency.

In the event of cancellation of booked sessions, there will be a 50% charge for sessions cancelled within 14 days of planned delivery date and a 100% charge for cancellation within 7 days of the planned delivery date. Alternatively, Leicester LGBT Centre will endeavour to offer to deliver booked sessions on alternative dates to those identified on the invoice at no charge subject to availability.

Payment within 28 calendar days of invoice date, unless prior agreement obtained from Leicester LGBT Centre.
​
Leicester LGBT Centre is not registered for VAT and this proposal therefore does not attract VAT.

Bookings will be confirmed via email by Leicester LGBT Centre.
